Aluminum 5754 was a common alloy often designated “AlMg3”, it is an aluminum alloy with
magnesium as the primary alloying element, supplemented with small chromium and/or
manganese additions. It has good formability when in the fully soft, annealed temper and
can be work-hardened to very high strength levels. It is slightly stronger, but less ductile,
than 5052 alloy.

- 3.0–6.0mm: Structural components, fuel tanks, and container panels.
2. Medium-Thick Plate (6.0–25mm)
- 6.0–12mm: Ship decks, chemical equipment linings, truck floor panels.
- 12–25mm: Heavy transport equipment, bridge structures, pressure vessels.
3. Thick Plate (Above 25mm)
- Primarily used in specialized industries, such as large ship structures and heavy
machinery supports.
