Aluminum 7075 is a heat-treatable aluminum alloy with zinc as the primary alloying element.
It has moderated formability when in the fully soft, annealed temper and can be heat-treated to
same strength level that are comparable to many steel alloys.
It has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness, and good resistance to fatigue.
It is more susceptible to embrittlement than many other aluminium alloys because of microsegregation, but has significantly
better corrosion resistance than the 2000 series alloys.

Density: With a density of approximately 2.81 g/cm³, 7075 aluminium alloy is much lighter than steel, contributing to
weight saving in aerospace structures.
Thermal and Electrical Conductivity: The alloy is good for parts that need to quickly get rid of heat or electricity
because it has very high thermal and electrical conductivity.
