Packaging and Shipping of Galvanized Steel Sheet
Galvanized steel sheet is usually supplied with either a standard industrial finish or a special polished finish. The standard industrial finish has a dull, matte appearance, and is normally supplied in thicknesses of 0.8 mm or greater. The special polished finish has a bright, shiny appearance, and is usually supplied in thicknesses of 0.4 mm or greater.
The galvanized steel sheet is usually supplied in sheets of standard sizes, typically ranging from 0.8 mm to 2 mm thick. It can be supplied in rolls, either rolled or coiled, depending on the application. The galvanized steel sheet is usually packed in waterproof paper or plastic film and then placed in wooden cases or steel frames. The packing is designed to protect the sheets during transportation and storage.
