0.3mm Bright Surface Regular Spangle Galvanized Roofing Sheet
Corrugated galvanized steel is one of the strongest, most durable roofing materials, since it
lasts longer, is more resistant to wind, and absorbs less heat than asphalt shingles.
Key Advantages
♦ Excellent Corrosion Resistance
The zinc coating forms a protective barrier against moisture and oxidation, making it ideal for
outdoor and humid environments.
♦ High Strength & Impact Resistance
The corrugated (wavy) design enhances structural rigidity, allowing it to withstand heavy wind,
snow loads, and mechanical stress.
♦ Lightweight & Easy to Install
Lighter than concrete or solid metal sheets, reducing transportation and installation costs. Suitable
for prefab buildings and temporary structures.
♦ Cost-Effective
More affordable than stainless steel or aluminum, with a long service life (10–30 years with proper
zinc coating).
♦ Fireproof & Durable
Non-combustible material, compliant with fire safety standards.
Common Thickness
Galvanized corrugated sheets are defined by base steel thickness and zinc coating weight:
Base Steel Thickness:
Standard range: 0.12mm – 1.5mm
Roofing/walls: 0.3mm – 0.6mm (balance of strength & cost)
Heavy-duty use (industrial): 0.8mm+
Zinc Coating Weight:
Standard coating: 40–275 g/m² (both sides)
High-performance: Up to 275 g/m² for extreme corrosion resistance.
Primary Applications
✅Construction: Factory roofs, wall cladding, warehouses, canopies.
✅Transportation: Highway sound barriers, tunnel linings.
✅Agriculture: Greenhouse roofs, livestock shelters.
✅Temporary Structures: Construction site fencing, modular housing.
Does galvanized roofing sheet rust?
The answer is yes, but very slowly. In fact, slow enough that it's usually not a problem. This is
why galvanized steel has been in use for the last 2,000 years, and why it's probably going to
be okay in your application.
