What Is Galvalume Used For?

It is used for many purposes, but the most common application is for outdoor metal paneling and metal roofs.
Galvalume metal VS Galvanized steel
Galvalume metal is similar to Galvanized steel, but uses a coating combination of aluminum and zinc rather than just zinc. The aluminum in Galvalume metal helps to better protect the panels against corrosion in certain environments compared to Galvanized. Galvalume is a high-performing metal option for high-temperature, high-precipitation, and marine environments. A Galvalume roof also provides a smaller, smoother spangle, which helps achieve a more uniformed design. Due to aluminum's qualities, Galvalume metal offers better surface protection than Galvanized, but is more vulnerable to scratches, blemishes or cut edges.
